Hans Römer is a certified USPTA and PTR professional.
He graduated with a BA Degree in Physical Education from the prestigious CIOS
Sport College in the Netherlands.
He is currently the Director of Tennis at the
Portland Country Club, coaches the USM (University of Southern Maine) Women’s
team and represents the USPTA New England Division as Vice President.
In 2006
Hans earned the USPTA New England Regional Pro of the Year Award. He has spoken
at numerous Conventions including the USPTA World Conference, The PTR International
Tennis Symposium and the USTA Tennis Teachers Conference.
As an active player he
is ranked #18 in Maine in the Men’s Open Singles.
